Slow Dough Bread Co is a family-owned business. Our family has been in the baking business for over 130 years. Founded in 2009 by 5th generation baker Heath Wendell and his wife Marlo, Slow Dough Bread Co is now one of the largest all-natural bakeries in Texas with over 500 wholesale accounts.
We have a modern manufacturing plant, capable of producing large volumes of high quality, fresh and frozen bakery products and deliver our fresh breads daily in Houston, Austin and San Antonio with our own fleet of Slow Dough trucks. We also have the ability to distribute frozen product nationwide.
